This butcher block is a true original, crafted with meticulous care and dedication. The base features over 50-year-old, air-dried oak from Germany’s Pfalz region—solid and steeped in history. The block itself is made from end-grain olive wood, accented with three walnut strips. With a thickness of 90 mm and a height of 850 mm, it is both sturdy and built for durability, ideal for the most demanding kitchen tasks.
The construction is traditional: the frame features wedged tenon joinery, while the upper support, crafted from hickory, includes half-lap and dovetail joints. The top unit is easily removable, blending classic craftsmanship with functional practicality.
